What to Pack for a Morocco Surf Trip
You do not need to travel with excessive equipment. Prioritise comfortable layers, sun protection and the few personal items that help you recover between sessions.
For the beach
Pack a secure swimsuit, quick-dry towel, reusable water bottle, high-protection sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. A small dry bag is useful for keeping essentials away from sand and spray.
Ask what the program includes before bringing a board or wetsuit. Rental equipment removes the risk and cost of transporting bulky gear.
For the surf house and village
Light clothing works well during warm periods, but evenings and windy beach checks can feel cooler. Add a sweatshirt or light jacket, comfortable shoes and respectful clothing for markets and village visits.
A universal adapter, personal medication and copies of travel documents are small additions that prevent avoidable problems.
Keep space in the bag
Leave room for local finds and avoid packing valuables you will not use. The most useful thing to bring is flexibility: conditions and plans can evolve throughout the week.
